I employ a novel difference-in-discontinuities design to leverage Mexico's 2002 mandatory preschool policy, revealing that increased preschool attendance led to a 0.04 standard deviation rise in primary school test scores

This study uses a difference-in-differences approach to show that a 2019 gasoline shortage in Mexico City led to a lasting increase in bicycle use, demonstrating that bicycles can substitute cars in areas with a bike-sharing program.

The study uses a difference-in-differences model to evaluate the impact of  the first Bus Rapid Transit line in Mexico City, finding significant reductions in PM2.5, NO, and NOx (27%, 24%, and 15%) during its operation, while PM10 increased by 6%, indicating a mixed but overall positive effect on reducing harmful pollutants.
